I recently acquired a Brewista kettle adding another variable (temperature) to my Aeropress recipe.
Around 93°c seems to be the sweet spot for most coffees but what's really interesting is how vastly different a cup can taste depending on temp. Anyone else have any experience with playing with temps with the Aeropress?
My recipe is as follows
Inverted
Double filter (rinsed with hot water)
16g medium fine
230ml water
Pour all water in, stir, wait 1.15mins, invert push through until hiss.
Finished at 2.15
It was from a recipe from a cafe here in Dublin. I tried it and like the result so kept it up. Have a go and see what you think. Should result in a slightly cleaner cup.
