Somehow my $60nzd crabon fork held up to 200+kms of rough gravel.
This is by far my favourite bike!!!

Thanks! There was a bit of discussion about the bike here some time ago.
Short recap: Frame was built for NCMC 2017 cargo bike race, I bought the frameset in 2018 and built the bike up (here's what I started with). The steering is still a bit of a hack job with unpainted parts and sharp edges, so I haven't bothered to take detail pics of the bike.

Took a corner a bit too fast on the way home. Solid 5 metre slide. Luckily I’m not seriously hurt but will probably be a bit sore tomorrow.
Think the corner of the rack actually saved me. Apparently there were sparks!

Yeah I’ve lost the front end of my mini maxi on a slippery round about before, big crash, some scraps but no damage really, thankfully

Wow, I never knew bungee were so contentious. I've been using them, & ratchet straps & ladder clamps for over a decade with no prob. The ratchet straps I find good for heavy loads but not as convenient as bungees

No, It was a bit of an impulse buy TBH. My dog prefers the Pizza Rack set up on my other bike and at the end of the month I will only be taking her to work very occasionally so seems overkill having a bike dedicated to moving my dog around.
I actually had some of them but didn't have much success. I found the ratchet mechanisms a bit weak and they jammed and tangled up regularly. I'm used to full-size ratchet straps, so maybe my expectations were a bit high!
