Car appreciation... the aesthetics, the engineering, etc

We've got those. They call them puddle lights. I used to hate them but they stopped me standing in an absolutely gigantic dog turd on a moonless night last year so they've won me over.

Car came out great, PDR is quite an amazing thing... Watched the guy work on the bad dent and one hail dent he'd missed on the hatch... The one on the hatch came out in 90secs, he just pushed it out with one of his tools, the big one took over an hour and he got it to about 90%... He'd have to take the door apart to get it perfect and I wasn't bothered enough to go that far...

Next job is bringing the plastic trim back to life, it's a bit grey in places, just ordered some Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer for the job... Then a couple of little paint touch ups, a final detail and I'll leave it alone...

Really wanna go do some light off-road stuff in it soon, I'm told there's a gravel track that winds through the hinterland from the Glasshouse Mountains out to the Sunshine Coast, would be ideal... Nothing too difficult, it's still a normal road...

Another Z3. K BOOBRA is a 'strong' plate, also a Z3.

I've pushed this alfa back to its garage when it broke down in Prince's Gardens when I was back at uni

My money’s on it being a Z3 as @6pt stated. There was discussion about one a number of pages back.

Number plate checker has it down as a 1.9 ltr BMW, so youre probably right

The thing that always gives them away is the bonded windscreen. 60s Ferraris didn't have bonded windscreens.

They do look pretty awful on that example but that can be fixed with some stub axle adaptors and some Borranis. Much harder to disguise/replace the windscreen.
