Cotic is finally done, took it for a little urban freeride session this morning, just need to take it for a proper ride now.

I’m glad he didn’t die, but fuck me it looked like vicious fall.

He's lucky he can even walk. But he's recovering very well considering the extent of the injuries.
He was a top level rider, not a pro, but as good as world class. Rode with Josh Bryceland and co. But on stuff like that when shit happens it happens heavy.

He is now actually Steve Austin.

Casing it may be as bad as falling onto the tracks.. At that speed you'll be thrown into a tree and snap yourself.

Should have taken you up on that, went to meet my friend for a road ride and ended up snapping my chain even before I'd meet him, then took me 90 mins to walk home.

No, xc shoes with cleats thankfully.

Just been to the pump track and done a few laps instead, and a few drops in the park, the Cotic rides really well. BB might be a tad low with 650"+" tyres. Just need to tidy up the cables and bleed the front brake.

Was it meant for 2.8"-3" tyres, rather than what looks like 2.6" that you have there?

Very observant of you! I’ve done the maths though and as it’s got a high BB anyway it’s still within the current realms of normal. It’s probably just lower than I’m used to with the Orange. Or I need to pedal less.
