Friend is looking to adopt a cat as hers recently died of cancer... too young too.
She will look at the usual charities of course but just wonder if anyone here know of a cat needing a good home?

Pocket literally doesn’t mind. She’s very chilled with her pronouns. She is currently sulking under the bed, but I don’t think that’s your fault.
And yeah, insurance!

Re insurance - we used Insurance Emporium for Euronymous, and it cost £8 a month, it cost circa £500 for all the tests when he was ill and to inevitably have him put down, after 11 months. There was no quibbling, and they were prompt responding to queries.

You’re very forgiven I think. As am I now. She’s a dead weight on my lap.

Photos! Photos! Photos!
A slightly different topic, does Pocket or any other forum cats snore?
Patch is currently snoring soooooo loud!!!! 🤣

She does... quietly. But more often she makes little contented noises (like a human having a big theatrical stretch)

Define snore, human snore or lound purr heavy breathing?
Have known a cat that snored, I found it very comforting to sleep in the same room as the snoring kitty.

I really don’t understand why the WiFi router and the amp are her favour spot. Neither of which gives out heat... 🤷🏻♀️

What’s happened? And is he ok? Other then feeling sorry for himself like we all are when we are not well...

we don't know what happened. she just started limping, and then not moving around; started yesterday morning.
this evening i've located a bump on her left front leg. hoping it's not a break. she's off her food as well.
if no improvement by tomorrow, we'll take her to the vet's.

That happened to Fabric once. Turned out he had been in a cat fight, been bitten and then got an abscess. Happened in 24 hours or less.
Fingers crossed it's that or similar, super simple to treat if it is. Good luck!

Awwww.... I hope she is ok... keeping Patch’s paws crossed for her...

And I am not doing very well with our forum cats pronouns, am I....
Got another kitty’s gender wrong...
Think I need some training... 😳

she hadn't been out so i don't think it was a fight.
nico (our other cat) does playfight with fred but i've never seen them hurt each other.
it seems more likely that she's squeezed herself into a spot somewhere and somehow hurt herself. she seemed fine when i went to work in the morning but when the rest of the family got up, they found her dusty and limpy.

Fingers crossed for Fred that’s it’s nothing serious. But yeah, get her to the vet.
