I'm sure on a road bike it would be fine, mine is mtb and so gets a rougher life.
I think using it in very low temperatures -12 deg c might have contributed to it going brittle and thus fracturing easier. But just a thought.
I had it on the gravel bike and managed to knock off the cap one time during a gravel event. Was a bit more careful after that. Now it's moved on to the Talbot roadie, so no issues there. They do sell replacement caps though, right?
Yeah for 5 quid a price.
After I lost my second I emailed and complained, they sent 3 FOC. When I went to fit I realised I'd had neither of the plastic clips.left.
I was going to either use a little sugru or glue to try hold it on.
