I have less than six weeks left on my UK passport. Is a trip to Budapest at the end of Jan going to be a problem? UK Gov and Hungarian consular websites are not exactly clear. TIA.

Edit: Seems to suggest for the EU it only needs to be in date, no other minimum length needed

It’s actually similar text to the gov website, but a fine difference that makes me read it as -

Post Office - Yes
gov.uk - Yes*

*No
