  • Looks about right.

LAMBO LOGO where the X is. Sort of candy red.

Pretty sure it wasn't a standard one as Google images throws up a lot which look more like a Quashei. But who knows.

My search also brought me across this kid and his video. Worth a watch if you're getting bored of murderously hating whoever is currently pissing you off.

  • We spent ages hunting for a v70 t5, ended up with a 2011 Subaru Legacy diesel.

    Similar money
Similar economy (few less MPG, but has 4wd)
    Similar boot space
    Worse seats (but still comfortable)
... but the deal breaker, a bonnet scoop - Mrs Hobs was sold!

  • Anyone got any experience with the (old) V60? https://www.parkers.co.uk/volvo/v60/coupe/review/

Considering replacing my '09 1.8 V50 with something newer. It guzzles petrol, annual road tax is £230 and is just generally getting on. Seen a couple of '14 plate V60s with 50-80k for around £8k with the (ULEZ compliant) D4 engine. Seems as though this will provide much more power and much lower costs, and even has a slightly larger boot.

  • Ashamed to be living though the era of Trump and the Urus, thank fuck the 90s was good enough to compensate

  • LED lights shining logos on the floor when you open the door, fuck, OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

  • I see what you mean about the boot now, looking from PC rather than mobile, the wheel arches intrude a lot. i wonder if that would make getting a bike in there difficult, I need to try.

  • Yeah the fre T5's I've seen are pretty leggy and strong money.
I don't want a diesel, but the Legacy GT is interesting though, but command money for non-leggy ones again. Hence looking at the 3.0.

  • My aunt used to have one. Super comfy seats, decent drive, decent boot, pretty quiet. Design wise I've always seen it as a bit of a dud, feels like a pile of compromises

  • I know what you mean. Having looked closer, there does seem to be two front ends, one (with split lights) is dreadful, the other I don't think so bad.

  • To be fair, door lights are super handy for spotting puddles, dog shit mud etc when getting in and out of the car.

I've liked having them on my last two cars...

I have a new favourite channel damn you

  • Yeah those front lights makes a huge difference!

Looks like the below is an R-design model?

  • Yup. Current V50 is one, as are the V60s I've been looking at. Of course what I really want is the Polestar...

  • He's great. As is the wizzzzard.

  • Coil packs are 'normal' more of a service item.

Don't they have a rear suspension beam issue?

  • Not logos though!

Also logos on seats. Mates I know what fockin car I'm in!

  • The only logo that should ever appear on a seat is with RECARO or SPARCO

  • that triumph a few pages back has me reminiscing over mine, great cars, smoothest engines i've driven, the pi 6cyl with overdrive was the perfect a road cruiser

my first, from an old uni mate

then i picked up a 2.5pi in really nice condition

  • 6 cylinder and multiples will always be smooth, balancing a threpenny bit on the rocker cover..

Carb balancing was an issue with more worn cars and even used the PI system on a gt6.

  • Fair point.

My last car just had a light. The current one doesn't have a logo but does have a silhouette of the car which is a bit wanky...

Nothing i can do about it though.

  • YES BRUVAH

  • This is the one I can't take.

Y the fuck would I want a miniature car for a fob?

Is not even a miniature car. Is a horrendous blob on my keyring.

  • Could probably mod it in some way. And yes it bothers me enough to bother.

  • THIS is a key

  • I mind that less than this fucking monstrosity...
