keep it simple
Said no Cannondale owner, ever
-
• #11906
Assuming it’s the press in threaded sleeve, I have the tool to remove should anyone want to make things less simple

I need this gone to help pay for a flat deposit. £650 posted - Open to offers
Highlights include an 11SL KMC chain, wolf tooth direct mount chainring that’s only seen a couple 100 KMs, TRP 8.4s with Swiss stop pads, pretty much new Schwalbe X-ONE

The crank arms are nice
Is it yours? I hope it's not yours.

Its the only just announced EF team bike. I think Kristoffer Halvorsen is the only one running the FSA TT rings so probably his

Yeah, not mine. Would certainly take those cranks though.

The arms. Just the arms. The rest can get in the bin.

What is the technical/structural purpose of placing the SS/ST junction that low on all the new (aero) frames?
By the way the cannondale font must be a joke
-
• #11919
The usual "improves vertical compliance and lateral stiffness"
-
• #11920
Hmm understood but on the other hand its located at the most flexible spot of the ST. Wouldnt that defeat the purpose?
-
• #11921
No I don't think so. Seatposts naturally flex, the lower down the seat stays join, the more length of seatpost and seattube are allowed to flex > increased comfort.
With the added benefit of a smaller rear triangle being stiffer for pedalling efficiency. That's what they sell you anyway

• #11922
Okay that makes sense to me now, thanks

Cheaper to produce; you just make one rear triangle then glue it on to any frame size.

Ha, aren't they monocoque construction?

I dunno, I'm only half serious.
Who cares, it looks shit. Absolute stinker.
