Considering replacing my '09 1.8 V50 with something newer. It guzzles petrol, annual road tax is £230 and is just generally getting on. Seen a couple of '14 plate V60s with 50-80k for around £8k with the (ULEZ compliant) D4 engine. Seems as though this will provide much more power and much lower costs, and even has a slightly larger boot.
My aunt used to have one. Super comfy seats, decent drive, decent boot, pretty quiet. Design wise I've always seen it as a bit of a dud, feels like a pile of compromises
Anyone got any experience with the (old) V60? https://www.parkers.co.uk/volvo/v60/coupe/review/
