Why use heavy solder? Just tape it to the battery with the same tape you're using to attach it all to the saddle.

Just looked up Blackburn lights see if the one i have is still listed. It's not and it's a double AAA battery so hefty.
The Blackburn Click is a double CR2032 and claimed weight of 20grams.
Postie has been with a very light weight box for me in the shape of handlebars :)
