wondered if using a 10 speed chain (the ones that are lighter like this one with a quick link would be alright?
It's functional as long as it fits the chainring and sprockets; beware that some are a full 3/32" wide and won't fit 9+ speed chains which are only 11/128" wide. Not sure why you'd want to use a more expensive chain which wears out quicker though.
I was just installing the tester approved chain and noticed the weight difference with the chain on my 10 speed equipped bike and was wondering if there would be any resistance problem or anything. mostly curiosity! thanks for the answer
