  • Ha! I’ll give you that, they’re not great. Although changing sprockets is a million times better since I replaced the high-lactose stock lockring with a Phil one.

    That depends. If you want the adjustment to be stable, tighten them more. On the other hand, if you don't want the lock nuts to detonate in a cheesy explosion, don't tighten them enough to retain adjustment.

  • I’ve actually replaced the miche locknuts as I had one of them split, alarmingly.

    @cagimaha I assume so as I’ve not replaced them. The bearings seem fine - it’s just that the locknuts seem to be tightening in on them for some reason
