To be fair, I have some scuffs and paint chips on my Venge chainstays that i want to get repaired and painted, purely because I know they are there...

The damage could be filled with JB Weld, sanded then touched up and you wouldn't know it was there.
Maybe this is a truth of materials thing though @HoKe ;)

^have to agree... don't fully understand the rationale behind the carbon repair
