instant coffee still accounts for over 75 percent of coffee bought to drink in British homes, as opposed to well under 10 percent in the U.S. and France and one percent in Italy.[10]

Bloody hell.

My new boss drinks instant, I thought he was some kind of crazy outlier. I literally don't know anyone else who drinks it.

Unsurprising. Everyone and their mother has a filter coffee machine in the US.

My in laws drink it. Before bed. With no impact on sleep. Which I guess shows how not-like-real-coffee instant coffee is!

With no impact on sleep.

I used to think my coffee intake had no impact on sleep... and then I stopped having caffeine after lunchtime. Noticeable difference.
