Fixed skylight.
Architects was a bit of a minefield. Quite a few wanted dollar just to come around for a look. Then the ones who did come around, all said different things about max size of apertures, min size permitted for downstairs loo etc.
Eventually found a fairly low rent architect who did some drawings which the builder then semi ignored. Didn't end up mattering that much, though.
did you go for openy openy skylights or fixed?
did you go full fat architect route or just a common or garden structural engineer?
