Yeah the citroen C5 was the last but not sure if it was better than xantia activa system. Cost wise it is expensive to build.
Keep looking at pug 505 adverts and have seen a few of the 505 4x4 that I have thought I would like to have. You know, when I am nipping to Northern African to meet a few beduin friends. Have seen a few 205 trio/junior for cheap and thought that I could make a good 205 rallye copy, with Euro engine 1.3 twin carb engine.
Well, yes - that is the ultimate. The oleopnuematic system remains unrivalled... but hardly common anymore. Sadly. I drove an old Xantia recently with the intent to buy and it's ridiculous that we put up with any other type of suspension - so smooth but controlled.
I'm a bit of a Peugeot person though and am keeping my eye out for a 504 ti.
