Garmin maps for India

Hi Guys

I'm looking for maps compatible with Garmin that cover India, specifically Kerala.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Choose generic routable as they are clearest on small screens.

Sorry to be a pain but I *think Ive downloaded the correct files but they are just a number - no extension. Am I looking for a specific extension of file?

You should have something like "gmapsupp.img"

Rename it before you put it on your device otherwise you may overwrite your existing basemap.
Call it anything.img
Needs to go directly in the garmin folder on your device or microsd if you have one.

where are you getting the file from???
I have requested the map for India

download the file osm_generic_gmapsupp.zip
unzip it and you should get a gmappsup.img file

That's cracked it. I was downloading the wrong file.
