I use a Specialized Pizza rack with P clips on the original fork.
Front end is obviously now heavier than a small planet, but it still handles solidly and predictably. Very happy with it.

If you want to have a basket on said rack, I would recommend the Wald 137 that comes with the stays. Mine is attached to the fork eyelets on my v4 Pompino, which it shares with the SKS fender stays. Nice and light, simple, and has been mega dependable for the 3 years I have had it.
