Sounds like the Dyad that they used on the 2010-2016 bikes.
They use something called the Gemini at the moment that dynamically changes the size of the air chamber to achieve a similar effect with a push shock.

But it's disappeared from my feed, so maybe they've changed their mind?
Nothing on their website:

Doing my bike research/hunting over Xmas and NY, and was come across 2018 supersix evo hi mod disc to be right up my street before it’s gone all aero. Anyone has experience using this?
As I like this but I’m not too sure why they made the fork threw axle and the rear a quick release! Do you think this would be a good by or just get something else with both through axle instead?

When you look at this version of the supersix it really emphasises how fucking horrible the new model is.

Brake forces are higher on front wheel so thru axle makes sense. Not as much needed on rear wheel. IMO mixed standards don't matter just buy wheels that have replaceable end caps (cough bitex centrelock cough)

I’m struggling with these.

As far as E bikes go, it could be a lot worse.

It’s all gone to shit, it’s over.

With Si cranks? Interesting. Maybe they can still innovate after all.

It’s a top tier Evo model, so comes top spec.

it was more a quip about how challenging it would be to fit Si cranks to existing e-bike systems - but I see this is a some kind of weird effort where they’ve gone for a hub based motor.

The motor is in the rear hub, so it can have whatever cranks it likes.
Would love to see Rat Boy shread one.

Some kind of bevel geared seat post motor like the pros use just kidding would have been interesting.

Or just rim brakes, if it's a good weather bike

They can be fitted to any bike with a standard seatpost. Forgot this was the Cannondale thread for a sec there.
There was a video I saw in my subscription feed I saw yesterday, and the shock was made by Fox and had a short travel chamber, and a long travel chamber and could be switched between both. But it's disappeared from my feed, so maybe they've changed their mind?
