In a shop, 10 feet off the ground.
Classic mistake. Should've been 5 feet, where there is less gravity.

Thats what i said. He'd never heard of the 5 ft low gravity sweet spot though.

Anecdotal stories are cool and all but the industry pretty much agrees that carbon degrades* slowly enough, especially when painted, that frames are likely to outlive a person. I can't see how under negligible force, a frame can crack itself unless it is extremely hot or routinely splashed with salt water.
*the resin actually
Edit: That said, there are always extreme examples of course. I doubt it would be representative of every one of the frames

Not French carbon. French carbon doesnt adhere to these 'industry standards' you know so much about. French Carbon has its own sub-category. And Look has its own sub-category within the French sub-category. It's known as the "Look - je ne sais quoi' category.
It's deep, man.

You could fit a 22mm tyre in that. At least.

So let’s tackle this bit by bit as there are many stuff to be resolved before I can ride this fully, most noticeably is that I am missing a front mech:

But one has, tubs though. Probably will need to get something either modern rims or retro rims that can accommodate clinchers.

Groupset is currently Dura Ace 7400/7410 (8 speed) in perfection condition. Will need to degrease some stuff but shifters, brakes, crankset and rear derailleur is in amazing condition:
