So as a few of your guys who follow me on IG knew that I got a new(ish) bike during my trip to NYC. Unfortunately/fortunately the seller refuse to sell the bike internationally and luckily I was visiting my girlfriend this holiday period and logically I thought it would work out perfectly and order the bike to her and take it back with me as part as my check in luggage.
Everything went according to plan, however when I arrived back in UK, being an honest guy I told the custom officer that I brought a new bike from state side and his eyes lite up with the £ sign and said I had to pay UK and custom tax for the bike...
I was like WTF!!! So I had no choice and I had to fork out £300 for them to release the bike so I could take it back home with me.
Motto of the story, last guys finish last and honesty is never the right policy!
