We once had an intern who was going to pay an NYC recruitment company something like $15k to place him in top internship/graduate programs. No idea if he did it in the end.

The story was posted on the Monday Malarkey instagram page and the actual artist that did it was replying to questions, I can't find the post now because it was a good while ago.

I guess it's the difference between inner-city, UK artists at decent shops and those near a mall somewhere in middle USA who's main clients are walk ins wanting stars and names.
