Produce PowerPoint templates with the right branding, and brand usage guidelines, then trust people to use them correctly.
Organisations find this curiously difficult, and employees can't get their heads around the PPT masters system. It bugs the shit out of me, I mostly blame PPT and it's goofy Masters thing.

Confession time: I pride myself on producing PPPs that are at least vaguely decent, and I still struggle to make the Masters thing work. I'm sure that at the end it's down to me not 'getting' it, but I'm usually pretty handy with this kind of stuff and I've encountered some weird behaviour in the Masters view.
