From a cursory google Gould Investigations appears to be Iain Gould:

I don't think so. Mostly as he appears to be a solicitor, whereas the flyer is clearly a scam, possibly one preying on people with mental illness.

It's not unheard of for a solicitor to try to gather information about a case, is it?

I just don't think with the information available it's actually possible to say either way.

Would people have believed the spycops stuff before it came out? The having children and stuff? Was that not epic WTF?
