4wd get the DT-03. it’s a better car than the neo scorcher which is basically a touring car chassis with bigger shocks. Or if you can find a cheap one the DB-01
2wd get a DT-02 (the 03 is silly and long but does have a better steering angle) or if you can find it the Zahhak.
It’s a bloody awful name and a crap body shell but it’s a cheap version of the TRF-201 which is a serious racing buggy so it handles well and is still sturdy -
I'd get a DT-03 or if I wanted some retro points get a Top-Force or Manta Ray with the ball bearing upgrade for the latter.
TBH the Neo Fighters looks like a good choice for a 2wd basher despite Matisse's distaste for the chassis - it's easy to get hold of, cheap and there are loads of good mods for it.

I keep making decisions, then changing mind.
Howard has convinced me that new skool will be more enjoyable/ user friendly than the OG re re's.
Now looking at a TT02b chassis Neo Scorcher, 4wd, plenty of hop-ups available

DT03EDIT: DF03 chassis (Dark Impact, et al) from forum and Reddit trawling.Just need to either buy it or mute this thread and hope I forget it looks like a riot
