Get the LX ! I've owned one for 1.5 years now, in my opinion its the best 35mm SLR i've owned/used (compared to the Nikons: F2, F3, FM2n, Canon: F1 & A1).
Just a superb camera, light, small and very easy to use - somewhat comparable to the Olympus OM-3/OM-4.
