I like the Doxa. The £1000 tool watch market is pretty wide, loads to choose from. You could go "proper" micro brands to suit your tastes - usual suspects are Aevig (I like the Huldra for a tool diver), Magritte, Baltic and Alkin and they'll all come in well under budget.

Shameless plug, but if you're after a proper indestructible toolwatch with loads of watch geek tech like anti magnetic / 500m depth / air dehumidifying then I've got a Sinn EZM3 that I still haven't got round to listing anywhere (it's a new years resolution to sort it out).
