  • Serotta #2 winging its way to me. Going to use a 130mm stem due to the short tt

  • I wasn’t sure if this would fit me but so far things are looking positive...

  • Any progress on the build @johnnettles2?

  • That looks lovely. Repainted or nos?

  • Repainted by Colourburn

  • Fantastic.

  • 👌

  • That is really good.

  • None whatsoever I’m afraid. In between houses so this’ll be a new year project.
Next steps will be to mock up with cranks/ different stems before I decide what the plans are... quite a short tt of 53cc but with an 18cm headtube

  • @johnnettles2 Strange dimensions, a custom frame presumably?

I had a rather nasty crash a few months back which resulted in quite a few fractures and a punctured lung for me and a wrecked front wheel, written-off forks and a cracked headtube lug on my Colorado. Thanks to the good people at Laka, Havebike and Argos, the frame has had a new lug fitted, replacement forks sorted and a new lick of paint. Argos also painted the original steel forks for only an extra fiver.

Just waiting on it coming back to me so I can rebuild it. Unfortunately my body is taking slightly longer to recover but hopefully it and I will be back on the road before too long. I wish I could've sent my body to Argos at the same time.

  • Sorry to hear about your crash But bike looks amazing!

  • Wow looks lovely- great colour choice. Yep, this frame and my other titanium serotta were both custom for people with long legs and shorter upper bodies /arms

  • That’s looking amazing Neil. Now that I look at it there’s quite a few details that are different with ‘my’ one. I’m sure mine had drop out tensioners

  • Yours did/does- also your top tube is larger diameter. I totally forgot to put the Silca in the box so need to post that to Rob to get matched to the frame now- D’oh!

  • Haha, nice self-portrait.

RE: the colour - it’s actually two colours, so the front and back of each tube profile have the lighter and the sides have the darker of these two shades. I’ve yet to see it in the flesh so am interested to know how it will look in real life!

Will build up with black carbon Columbus forks and then the same record/chorus 10 speed parts as before with neutron ultras

  • Anyone looking to buy one of these atm? Serotta Tri-Colorado 650c wheels front and back. Looks like I'm going to have to sell it asap :-(

  • Lovely. Did I sell this one to you?

  • 57cm Centre of bb to top of lug
53cm Centre of bb to mid of top tube
55cm Centre to centre top tube

  • Damn, sadly too big for me :/ out of interest, how much are you roughly after? Might be able to convince a friend of mine.
