  • Is there a running equivalent of a recovery ride?

    Yeah same principals apply I think. Keep it really low intensity, watch your HR if you have a device that will let you do so or use breathing as a guide. I sometimes do a run with my mouth closed to keep a lid on things.

    That’s what I tried but it turns out I only really have one speed. I actually felt fine once I’d warmed up.

  • Often the way. You never feel as bad as in the first mile if a bit stiff or tired and often feel better after than you would otherwise. It is important not to go too fast though, as a general rule always follow hard day with an easy day.
