X7 definitely has the same ratio as Rival 10 and will work. Can’t say for sure about the X9 because I think the cable pull length might be different. I think there was a reason I got X7 for mine and not X9. Hold off buying until there are a couple more replies to confirm. The Art’s Cyclery chart used to have this info on it, but for some reason they took it down.
