I just saw McDonald's advertising in Berlin for a vegan Royal TS burger, and thought to myself "hmm, nice - they're really doing a vegan version of one of their classics now".
For me this would still not be an attractive option when I find myself hungry when strolling through the city, I don't like McDonald's and frankly there are better options available - but there are a lot of people eating there (the one closest to me is actually on the other side of the street from a very big public school, so go figure) - and them offering a vegan TS just means a lot less meat will be consumed, plus people will make the experience that having a non-meat burger is actually ok.
Like big fastfood chains or not, them offering vegan options is helping to spread veganism on a massive scale.
Yeah.
