This was fixed for a while this year... tyres aren’t massive, want to crimp the chain stays to fit 35 in.

I used to have a kona like that. There are photos of it on here somewhere. It was really nice to bomb around especially in snow and ice.

My talbot didn't have clearance for big tyres, which is a shame as Ive turned to more off road touring these days.

Fixed off-road touring sounds like an exercise in torture to me, but I'm sure there is someone enjoying it. Obviously single speed works out well for some folks on the tour divide.

Marathon Pluses can fuck right off tho, insanely heavy bringing over 3kg on the bicycle already (26" 2.0 for reference)
-
• #22545
Since we're on the subject. Is there any 26" superwide rims which are 36h and tubeless ready?

Do wanna try them though, at 2.15". Weight is a lost cause with my bike anyway.

Always wanted to get the Surly ExtraTerrestrial in 29 2.5, but the price for one tyres is the same for two Marathon Mondial.

These will be for Colombia and Ecuador
Was only taking about Bosnia as TM had some real trouble finding 700c tyres and inner tubes there
