This was fixed for a while this year... tyres aren’t massive, want to crimp the chain stays to fit 35 in.

I used to have a kona like that. There are photos of it on here somewhere. It was really nice to bomb around especially in snow and ice.

Mostly people are building tracklocross or fixed gravel or whatever name you want to give it though. There's a fat fixed cp thread atm too from @Skant

I'd venture that any terrain/ trips that warrant big fuck off rubber and racks is best not tackled fixed but chapeau if that's your bag. There was this, 1/2 ain't bad? Though I don't think front loading worked out great in that scenario.

My talbot didn't have clearance for big tyres, which is a shame as Ive turned to more off road touring these days.

Fixed off-road touring sounds like an exercise in torture to me, but I'm sure there is someone enjoying it. Obviously single speed works out well for some folks on the tour divide.

Marathon Pluses can fuck right off tho, insanely heavy bringing over 3kg on the bicycle already (26" 2.0 for reference)

Do wanna try them though, at 2.15". Weight is a lost cause with my bike anyway.
