We’re in Melbourne right now and you wouldn’t know anything’s amiss, everyone’s shopping, chilling and now out getting pissed up ready for New Years in just over an hour. 21° with a nice breeze here all day...
Tomorrow we’re driving to Gippsland which is really suffering. Our train down was delayed due to a ‘tiny’(the train drivers description) grass fire that wiped out a barn and two hillsides. Was pretty insane rolling through while they were still putting it out :/ there were like 15 fire trucks and a few forestry guys and locals helping too.
