This sounds like it’s wayyyyy too bright. Daytime only and you have to tick a box to agree to this?

For daytime riding using one of the flash modes it’s nothing short of outstanding and I certainly wouldn’t say it’s too bright. I’ve been out with mine four times so far. A couple of those rides were with friends and any riders behind certainly weren’t blinded.
Riding at night is a different matter. We set off late afternoon a few Saturdays ago which then turned into a night ride. For night time riding yes I agree, in flash mode it was too bright. Instead, I just switched to the 33% steady light output mode and again there were no complaints from any riders behind.
It’s the perfect day or night light for the quiet lanes I ride on and drivers are well aware of my presence a long time before they actually need to pass. I’ll quite confidently say it’s one of the best cycling purchases I’ve made.

I’m selling another of these Dinotte 400R tail lights with 4 cell battery. The 4 cell battery is still on its original charge as was only used for a couple of rides (the charger hasn’t actually been unwrapped).
Myself and the wife won’t be commuting again any time soon (if ever) so this one is up for sale. As far as rear lights go this is about as good as it gets. The low output modes and low pulse are absolutely perfect for night time group riding or commuting and the stronger pulse modes are absolutely brilliant for UK daytime winter riding when you really want to be seen well before a vehicle tries to pass. There’s a marked difference between how much more room passing cars seem to give you when using this rear light than without (read the reviews on the Dinotte website).

I have a brand new Dinotte 'daytime red' rear light for sale. I brought three of these back with us from our recent December holiday in the US. One for myself and another two for club buddies; one of which has changed their mind. It's up for sale here, brand new and boxed with 4 cell battery, UK charger and all frame mounts one could possibly need.

Price with shipping to a UK address via Royal Mail special delivery is £215. This saves you the USA to UK shipping and the UK import duty you'd have to pay were you to purchase it via the website.
Yes this light is expensive but it is 'bright' and with the 4 cell battery has a very long run time. For audaxing or even commuting it doesn't get much better than this.
