Getting kind of tempted by a Seiko SARB017 Alpinist.

Loving the sunburst green dial and the compass function. Not that I'd probably ever need it for when I do go up in the mountains as I have a map/compass and two GPS units anyway.

Just a pity that the standard strap is a bit shit.

You can source an OEM bracelet for it that looks good, stamped end links though.

Edit: it’s a 6R calibre with diashock as well? That’s some value.

You can get refurbed ones on the bay for £250. Chrono new with box and papers for £400-500.

Probably look at 2nd hand refurb to be honest.

Edit: The refurb ones look like fakes after a bit more checking of the sellers.
