For the last Festive no results or feedback were presented on the Rapha web site.

Has anyone been on the bike since? Are there other reasons for riding bikes?

I am not talking about the results of the ride (that is not indeed a race with winners) but about the cycling prizes awarded by the Rapha for the best stories (#FESTIVE500 AWARDS)

Has anyone cycled to Paris before during f500? I'm planning to tick off a few hundred Kms by doing that

It may involve some cycling in the dark and the northern French plains are quite cold that time of the year, but I don't see why you shouldn't

Cheers mate, we will try to minimize night riding but will have a little bit. Via Dieppe or le Harve will only be a 280km or so, therefore won't be able to do all of it in just that trip.

Looking forward to this again. Enjoyed it last year, weather didn't dip too bad.

Anyone doing this death march ? It’s proper grime on the south coast. Did 45 miles in howling wind and rain to stay on target, 295 kms to go!

Yep. 40km on fixed this am to take me up to 230km total. Weather looks to be improving going into the weekend (touch wood).

I couldn't face the grim conditions today after a sublime ride around Richmond Park yesterday. Fallen behind, 355kms to go...

200k (120k/10k/70k) in the bank. I'm not sure I will get a full chance to do it, but if anyone is tempted by a ride towards Cambridge (Fri) or North Kent towards Whitstable (Sunday) then please drop me a pm.

Amey, plan is to ride there, (see my mate and new kid for a quick bite), then train back

They don't do aloo gobi in Kent so I can't bring you back any

Lashing it down and about 5 degrees . I saw a few people in poor or no waterproofs plus mudguards looking miserably as hell. All after the roundel .

It's really hard to get the 500km when the weather is grimmers.
