  • Well. Stuff worth paying attention to based on price, quality at each price point is below. There are of course others but these are the one's worth actually looking at IMO. Probably worth identifiying a manufacturer that makes shoes in a last that fits the shape of your foot, your price point and going from there. E.g. Tricker's have some particularly wide/volumous lasts. C&J have (mostly) narrower and more elegant lasts.

    Entry level: Meermin, Loake, Berwick 1707, NPS
    Mid: Tricker's, Carmina, Cheaney, Alden, Carlos Santos
    High: C&J
    Really high: Gaziano Girling, George Cleverley, John Lobb, Foster & Son

  • You didn’t even put Church or Russell & Bromley on the list. Not sure what their current quality is like, tho.

  • ‘Obviously there are others’.

    R&B are a borderline high street shoemaker. You can get proper bench made Goodyear welted shoes for the same price.
