Rubik cubes. I've always had a pretty darn good comprehension of 3D space but those things are, scuse the pun, off the grid.

When I used to fly a lot in the US I got one and a 2 page cheat sheet downloaded from the Internet. At the end of a 2 hour flight I was able to do it from scratch comfortably in under 2 minutes and can still pick up a cube and solve it now (some 18 years later) although it's a bit tricky if I haven't done it for a month or so, so I keep a couple around at work/home offices and try to play with them at least a few times a week.
I can't be bothered to learn different algorithms to be able to do it faster.

I learnt it a few years ago but have forgotten everything.

I have been moderately obsessed with solving Rubik Cubes for the last year or so. My PB time is now down to 31 seconds.
If anyone wants to learn, I am happy to teach.
Buy me a pint and I'll provide the cubes.

Gary Larson is a very mediocre cartoonist. Very few of his ideas are original and even those are let down by his poor execution. He often has to add captions to explain the joke where better cartoonists would show the whole story in their drawing alone. He is that plodding. He's the Mrs Brown's Boys of cartoons; bad jokes telegraphed clownishly.
This seems to be an unpopular opinion.

A perfect example of a guilty pleasure for me then.

Cows were actually funny before Larson started drawing them.

I've always loved Gary Larson's work and look forward to new things (although reunions often don't end well).
I realise this post doesn't belong in this thread.

Alan Davies, what an utter cunt. I've just watched QI for the first time for ages. He really is an unfunny cock.

Not as unfunny as Josh Widdecombe. Dismal cunt

He's definitely the funniest on The Last Leg.
If it was a new material night, he may have been trying new material out? I've seen a few decent comedians die on their arses trying new stuff out.
I remember the look of disgust on Frankie Boyle's face as he crossed gags off in his notebook at The Stand Edinburgh
