there was some sort of flash sale on amazon, so managed to get the game of the year edition of spiderman for £20.
Not sure when I'll play it, but good to have. -

reminded me I need to finish it... very good game.
I got carried away with the Epic Game Store deals, they have % off but also $10 credit every time you buy a game $14.99 or more.
Bought Control, Division 2, Close to the Sun, Anno 1800, Outward, The Sinking City Necronomicon Edition, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw

Soooo!!! Just opened Christmas presents and got Spider-Man game of the year edition from the missus. Ooops!
So now have an unopened PS4 one spare if anyone wants it for £20 and a bit postage, otherwise I’ll see if I can return it to Amazon. -

Ape Out is half price on Switch at the moment. Enjoyed an hour of it today and reckon I’ll be picking it up a lot in the next few months.

Ha, the only game I bought on sale for my Switch too yesterday!
Currently thoroughly enjoying new Shovel Knight: King of Cards.
I mean, I’ve enjoyed every single one from series, but this one goes even beyond.
So much content for £7.99... -

Only have the demo but it is indeed great.

Mrs CYOA surprised me with a Switch - my first ever console.
What do I get? She gave me BOTW with it which is frustrating but enjoyable so far.
A quick skim suggests Skyrim / Witcher 3 / Stardew Valley (just as I enter my 7th year on my current Android playthrough - jumino huts ftw). What else? Not really into pokewhatsit stuff, don't love modern mario stuff. Like open world stuff but open to suggestions.

Mario Odyssey is incredible... you should definitely give it a go.
BOTW suck for the first couple of hours because the learning curve is steep. Once you unlock a few things and progress a little further, it’s probably the best game of the decade.

Amen.
Didn’t love mario. Liked but didn’t love. Looooooved botw. Every time I play something else I end up loading up Zelda. It’s permanently in my switch....

Skyrim on the move is excellent.
Diablo III is an excellent port, prefer it to the PC version. Definitely not open world, but good for 15-20 minute sessions of mindless demon slaying and loot hunting.

does d3 on the switchy require constant internet connection?
-
• #21371
Nope.
I've only payed it offline (same as all Switchings I've done) -
• #21372
Have you tried the DLC? Road to Gehenna turns the dial up to 11.

Thanks all. At inlaws today but back tomorrow and have given myself until the 6th off work so plenty of time to get in. How do you install games locally? I downloaded Stardew Valley last night which seemed to be a couple of gigabytes and there's only 25gb internal. Is it expandable? Or do you need those little cartridges for bigger games?
-
• #21374
You can use SD cards
-
• #21375
MicroSD cards for expandable memory.
I think I stuck a 128gb one in mine.
Wow. That was incredibly easy.
I'm so happy ðŸ˜
