All this “pub bike” nonsense. So irresponsible. Thank heavens for Heineken zero.

Are we above the drunk driving law?!

A guy I went to school with died drunk cycling, hit by drunk driver. It ended up being net 0 in terms of responsibility

Superb! I know you wanna paint it but it looks so damn good as it is right now.
Just out of curiosity, what size is it and how long is the wheel base?
Get at me if you want to pass it on at some point. -

Everybody know tinnies are way more practical anyway (lighter to carry to and from campsite, can be crushed so easier to store once finished, no need for bottle opener).
-

And SPDs are the world's best bottle openers, but everything is a bottle opener if you try hard enough.

We have an alcohol limit of 0,5 driving a car and 1,7 cycling in Germany.

The irony is that it's harder to cycle than to drive under the influences.

The promotional material will have it that you and your improbably handsome mates will only allow yourselves a drink around a campfire at the end of a full day of riding in the wilderness.

I like how people jump to alcoholic beverage rather than soda.
-
• #9940
That's one of the benefits.

A full day of riding around carrying glass bottles? Yeah good idea

Not me, my friends are ugly.

Further on my stupid idea of a gravel fixie, do ENO hubs work with thru axle frames?
-
• #9944
ENO hubs work with thru axle frames?
Think about disc brake mount.
-
• #9945
I have, but I don't know. The prospective bike will not have a rear brake if that affects the answer in one way or another.
On the forum you have to pretend that I don't really know anything about geared bikes or disc brakes because I don't in real life :)

Ok or a different question would be what is a steel frame that could take 650b wheels in say a 51/52 with a stack of 55cm and reach of ~38cm? Then I could just get a framebuilder to stick on track ends and skip this ENO / eccentric business

• #9947
What type bottom bracket do you have?
-
• #9948
Is it ?
-
• #9949
I'd prefer external english threaded BB, I have a dusty pair of Omniums I'd like to put to good use
-

Find a frame with a BB30 and get an eccentric adaptor.
Always think this when I see frame bags designed for beer cans.
