Why do twitter images like the one above never show up for me? I assume other people can see them because they comment on them. Hang on... inspecting...

Is it because twimg is blocking embedding?

You need to get the direct link to the image (but not sure the link will last in that case) :

Same thing, using https://flic.kr/p/2hTkbGt won't work.
The easiest thing for you if you cannot get the direct link to the image in that case: Download the file and upload it directly here.

...I'm using imgur.com now...it works.

Using a Mac and I am having trouble uploading images. I can select the images to upload but then i do not see any uploading images or nothing. As if I did not select the images to upload. I have to try and try again and just hope they uploaded without actually seeing any info on the screen. I remember I used to upload with no problem. The mini thumbnail of my images would inform me of what I have selected and is uploading.
Anyone have any solutions?

Could always just out them on imgur and embed them? Or Flickr and link to the album etc.
