Sport Massage - Low Cost

I am training to become sports massage therapist BTEC Diploma Level 5 in Sport & Remedial Massage Therapy at London School of Sport Massage.

I have done 9 out of 12 months of the training.

While in training, I am offering low cost massage sessions - £30 per hour.

Your website says you have the diploma. My step-Mum is a trained sports therapist, took 3 years I think.

There are different courses (some last one year, some are three years) and I specify what I am training for BTEC Diploma Level 5 in Sport & Remedial Massage Therapy at London School of Sport Massage

I give you the link to it, you can check what it is. Unfortunately in the UK " The regulation and registration of complementary therapists in the UK is voluntary self-regulation."

But I have insurance, and I am a member of ISRM The Institute for SOFT TISSUE THERAPISTS

And I did read it. The course is one weekend a month for 12 months. This means you've trained for a whole 9 weekends...

Yes this means that we had meetings for 9 weekends so far, but that is not all I have done to learn the skill of being sport massage therapist.
I have gone through already two exams, and there will be the final exam at the end of the course.

I have done extensive self study on Anatomy and Physiology, which has been examined.

I have assignments that I've handed in and passed them, so apart from those weekends, I am also doing a lot of studying.
And most importantly I have already done 100 hours of practice - sport massage session with clients.

So I have enough experience to treat clients now. Your step-mum is much more experienced, there's no doubt about this. However, the school where I am studying is very good and if you want I can ask for testimonials from my clients and send them to you.

The school has been establish by Mel Cash and we have him as our teacher, as well as other therapists, physios, osteopaths ad soft tissue therapists. You can mention him to your step - mum . He is renowned in the field.
