Are you interested in any swaps? I have a few bikes in your size but can't justify buying another!

Trying to make space to be honest but can always be tempted - what do you have?
-

Hey, this is tickling my fancy. Where are you located? Looks reasonable nick from pics. Anything stand out?

I’m in Herefordshire but in Winchester each week for work.
Very tidy with no scratches (and definitely no dents!), bit of mud rub on inside of left chainstay due to running 47c with not much clearance on a fire road that was much muddier than I expected. But that’s really it, original bar tape is even like new.
Let me know if you need any more information

Think i might be pushing it at 6ft 4 with the sloping TT making the ST pretty short?
-
• #8
Answering whether it will fit is a bit tricky but I'm 6'2" and ride 'tall/large' for my height.
The seat tube is short with the sloping top tube (geometry is here https://www.cannondale.com/en/International/Bike/ProductDetail?Id=8d61398b-128c-497f-87f4-be8e695bd4cb) but for reference I've got the saddle at 84cm from centre of b/b and the seat post still has some adjustment to go. It also comes with a short and upright stem which, for me at least, fits really well

Is this still available? I’m keen if there’s some way of getting it to London or NW Surrey (Woking area)
-
• #10
Yes, still available.
I work in Hampshire so can certainly get it to Winchester in early January but could also probably sort out it being in Hampton/Teddington.
Drop me a PM if it would help to discuss further.

Now £695

• #12
£5 drop?
-
• #14
Further price drop to £675
-
• #15
Plenty of 'serious interest' but then goes silent - perhaps another drop to £660 will help...

It's bound to be quite collectable in the future. Put it in storage somewhere, get in out in 2030.
-
• #17
Restricted storage is the problem!

I'd have already bought it if it had the Lefty suspension fork.
-
• #19
To be honest, with the big tyres I didn't find any need to a suspension fork up the local woods (although that is surely a combination of the local woods, bar roots, being fairly benign and my extremely modest skills)

Great looking bike! Especially with the Horizons. I wasn't aware Cdale also did a Lefty without suspension on this model. Looks really nice.

I'd love this if it was only a Large frame. GLWS

Hi is this bike still for sale? I need a commuting bike that I can put some panniers on. I’m 183cm. Would this bike be good for me?
-
• #23
It’s still available, has rack mounts and, while sizing is personal, I’d have thought at 1.83 it would fit fine
-
• #24
Ok. I’m seriously interested. I’m based in south west London. I’m in Aldershot this weekend. Is there any scope to meet at a mutually convenient spot

I’ll drop you a PM and we can go from there
Have had this bike for 18 months, loved riding it but have picked up something else that does the same job and need the space.
It’s a 2017 Cannondale Slate Apex 1 with the rigid Lefty Solo fork. Everything stock bar the saddle which is a used fluro Arione (think I have the original saddle in the shed, will include it if I can find it). Takes 650b and did squeeze in some 47c Horizons although it was a little tight at the rear. Will come with the original, basically unused Panaracers rather than the ones pictured.
Size wise, it’s a 59cm too tube (but the stem is relatively short and upright) and the seat tube is 54.4cm (tt is sloping) - it’s set up for me at 6’2” and was a comfortable fit. Full geometry details can be found at https://static.evanscycles.com/production/pdf-media/sizing-table/Cannondale_2017_Slate_Geometry_Chart.pdf
I’ll be keeping the pedals pictured but can supply some basic SPDs.
£700 Now £695 NOW £675 AND AGAIN to £660
