Glad to see the Coil reissue at number 1 in your reissue list. It’s an old friend of mine that put it out.

A big yes to Bill Callahan. And whilst I'd put Sebadoh in my top 5 fave bands of all time, I really didn't take to Act Surprised at all. Will give it another listen. And probably try some of the others on your list as you clearly have a good ear. Or two.

I just didn't like the DIIV album which was a real let down considering how much I like the first two.
-
• #22
I hadn't heard of them before Deceiver, so I'm probably biased towards saying: Deceiver > Is the Is Are > Oshin

I've really enjoyed the Viagra Boys - Street Worms album, I don't think my partner enjoyed my repeated dancing and singing though.
There's a compilation of Belgian New Beat that's pretty solid too.
I'm surprised to see Coil in any list.

Is The Is Are was pretty much on continuously for months. I was obsessed with it.
Has anyone here listens to the new Kevin Morby? Its incredible, a diamond.
Well, here it is. This is what I enjoyed:
Favourite Albums of 2019:
Honorable Mentions:
Warmduscher - Tainted Lunch
Sebadoh - Act Surprised
Battles - Juice B Crypts
Favourite Reissues:
Compilations:
Other Reissues:
I only bought one 12" single that was released this year and it's a VERY good one:
And only one 7" single which I definitely did not enjoy:
There's a lot that I still haven't listened to properly yet but that's always the way.
Looking forward, as always, to see what everyone else enjoyed.
