Right but it was the claim that the majority of residents live in housing estates which surprised me. Especially given how densely covered it is with terraces which are largely houses or converted flats, not to mention new apartment blocks.

Also worth pointing out that many of those estates have had huge investment and pretty nice with excellent playgrounds, outdoor spaces, etc.
But this, when I read it it this am, sound a bit like "I don't understand, Islington is rich, and those estates look nice".
I just wanted to highlight how grim it can be.

This is data from public health england and shows how islington is doing next to its nearest cipfa neighbours (areas most like it) and benchmarked against England.
I'd have a look through there.
London, has a massive inequality within areas. You can have LSOAs bumping up against each other that are massively different.
When new measures come out and show an area improving overall compared to other parts of the country/london, it's worth pointing out it's not always an improvement. The other areas might be getting shitter.
