It about 130k so we should be done in about 5h15.

It's a fair bit hillier than earlier years. If we work well together on the first half through Faversham and south then the hillier second half will be easier to manage. The wind will probably be in our faces on the return so again sharing the work will be much appreciated with the extra elevation.

Hopefully it'll be enjoyable tho!

edit: @Camel_toe I am recce'ing a suitably rustic cafe. @onyerbike you can expect to be back at the station about 8 hours after the start time. @cgg is technically right thought, it'll be about 5:15h riding time

Currently working out train times as with that extra elevation I aint doing 30 miles to get there too!

EDIT: not too sad, train takes 1 hour 27 there and 1 hour 12 back. Certainly quicker than ill be riding anyway

Looks a good route. When I started following it through Boxley I though it I myself ‘no, not up Lidsing Hill’, but thank god, we turn onto Pilgrims Way before it gets proper steep.

I’ve followed this thread for a few years now and have always wanted to take part. Sadly life has always intervened.

This year is looking very possible in terms of availability, alas I no longer have a fixed bike! If I can manage to borrow one in time I’d love to join you all if you’d have me.

That one's still somewhere, but it's not here. Sensible commuter fixed with sensible commuter gear is in the shed if reqd though. I wanted to do this but have left it too long since I was last on a bike.
