I know it sounds “silly” but as someone who loses circa £20 a month out his pockets this sounds a plan.

I tried a new method of saving. Never using card only having x cash for the week, works very well.

Plus most markets when I’m home are mostly cash only.

I reckon the mails etc are just an attempt to smooth demand for the picking team and to create some panic purchasing.

Smoothing demand and encouraging panic purchasing are opposing strategies.
