I took a pop on the panettone as desert at my works Christmas do last week - half expected some poncy cupcake sized thing however was presented by a huge plate filled with 2 inch thick slabs of a full scale number accompanied by a wee pot of thin home made custard for dipping it in - was marvelous although I don't think so can face another one this side of Christmas
