• I had the bike turned upside down for a few days whilst I buggered about with wheels, putting it back onto it's wheels and both front and rear brake levers are going to the bars unless you pump them a few times - is this normal?

  • Largely, yes - any air that was hanging about in the reservoirs has now migrated in to your callipers. Expect brakes to be shit for a few runs until gravity migrates the air back.

    Ideally there shouldn't be any air but it's an open system so it's difficult to get rid of all of it.

    To prevent this in future toe strap the leaver to the bar with either the wheel in or the bleed block before upside downing the bike.
